Embossing Die
Embossing Die
Plunger-pins can lift a sheet-metal part after embossing. In operation, this example shows that the plunger-pins are compressed between the sheet metal and the die section during the down-stroke. On the up-stroke, the plunger-pins lift the sheet metal upward out of the die section.

Forming Die

Forming Die

Plunger-pins can eject a sheet-metal part after forming. In operation, this example shows that the plunger-pins are compressed between the sheet metal and the pressure pad during the down-stroke. On the up-stroke, the plunger-pins push the sheet metal away from the forming punch. For best results, the plunger-pins can be located near the formed edges as shown (near the outside edges of the forming punch).
