operation, this example shows that the plunger-pins are compressed between the sheet metal
and the die section during the down-stroke. On the up-stroke, the plunger-pins lift the
sheet metal upward out of the die section. |

| Plunger-pins can eject a sheet-metal part after forming. In
operation, this example shows that the plunger-pins are compressed between the sheet metal
and the pressure pad during the down-stroke. On the up-stroke, the plunger-pins push the
sheet metal away from the forming punch. For best results, the plunger-pins can be located
near the formed edges as shown (near the outside edges of the forming punch). |
